Member Code of Honour

Golf has always been a game built on honesty, respect, and personal responsibility. Long before referees, cameras, and slow-motion replays, players were expected to call penalties on themselves and protect the spirit of the game. That still matters here.

Our leagues are designed to be competitive, enjoyable, and fair. They only work when members buy into the same standards. This is not about being heavy-handed or joyless. It is about making sure everyone can trust the competition and enjoy being part of it.

1

Play It Straight

Record your scores honestly and accurately. If you know a score is wrong, correct it. If you breach a rule, call it. The best players in the world still call penalties on themselves. No Patrick Reeds here please.

2

Declare With Integrity

Only declare rounds you genuinely intend to complete under league conditions. No Mulligans please!

4

Verify Honestly

If you are verifying another member's card, do so properly. Confirm scores fairly and do not sign off numbers you know are incorrect. Looking the other way helps no one.

5

Win Well. Lose Well.

Some weeks you will fly up the table. Some weeks golf will humble you in broad daylight. Handle both with good grace and remember we're lucky to be out there — good and bad shots are part of the privilege.

6

Respect Other Members

Treat fellow members with courtesy in person and through the app. Healthy rivalry is welcome, but don't over step the line.

7

Protect the Club

Origin Golf Club is built on trust and community. If something does not look right, raise it privately. We would always rather deal with issues early than let standards slide.

8

Remember Why We're Here

Yes, it is competitive. Yes, prizes matter. Yes, promotion on the final day is glorious. But we are also here to improve, enjoy the game, and be part of something good.

Final Word

Golf is the pause, not the pressure. Be grateful you're out there, hold the finish, savour the shot, play better golf.
